For thirty years, I try to know better how farmers and non farmers deal with the space sharing, as a social and rural geographer. The talk will give you an overview of two of the research issues I have been driving. The initial question has been the recreational use of farmland, in Ille-et-Vilaine (Brittany) with a light in Devon (UK). An other one has been a survey in Brittany, Normandy and Charentes aiming to know what gives its values to the farmed land...
